wordless wednesday – doggy doors are for kids, too

Our neighbors may have taught Emmet how to use their doggy door.  Now anytime he’s over there he wants to try it out.  It goes like this:

and repeat

doggy door

    oh the toddler exploring! I often think about those parents that try to inhibit their kids natural curiosity in safe situations like this because they’re not ‘supposed’ to (use the dog door or whatever) and wish I could tell them how much less frustrated they would be if they just went with the flow. mine learned to climb up on the kitchen chairs today, so I’m going to go practice what I preach now :)
