currently v.3

Currently I am…
working on: on my garden. It’s organic and we’re growing tomatoes, bell peppers, poblano peppers, spaghetti squash, crookneck squash, zucchini, butternut squash, cucumber, okra and canteloupe. I waged a small war with some tomato worms that took out a pepper and half a tomato plant. They are hungry little one horned buggers, check it.

dreaming of: the day my kitchen floor will again be clean. Emmet is in this food throwing stage. Nuff said…
planning: our dinners each week. I know, not the funnest thing to plan. But it makes my days immensely easier.
thinking about: Trying to squeeze in a half marathon this summer somewhere cool. My last long run was 8 miles so I’m not that far off. It would just have to be up north as they don’t hold them in summer in Texas. Just thinkin’.
obsessed with: I thought about this for awhile and I’m not obsessed with anything right now. For me, doing the stay at home thing really doesn’t leave time to obsess about stuff. E is a million miles an hour and it takes everything I’ve got to keep up with him or keep him busy.

Ack! I just discovered caterpillars in my tomatoes, too, but not tomato hornworms (thank goodness). What worked for you to get rid of them?

Husband person sprayed the perimeter of the yard with bug stuff. He was not trying to kill the worms, but it was a nice perk that came along. The garden place I got my plants from said you can also companion plant with basil, or spray Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap or neem oil as well. Good luck!
Your garden sounds amazing!
I had a hard time coming up with something I was obsessed with as well. Umm, I’m obsessed with Kale? Does that count?

I had that same thought of putting I was obsessed with E. It does count! I like that I am not alone here
Happy to see you are able to work on your fitness and be a great Mom!
Whoa, look at that bug! Creepy, lol. But your garden does sound pretty amazing. I’m a little jealous.
